The Council for the Welfare of Children (CWC) is the government partner of the AKO PARA SA BATA International Conference 2019. As part of its commitment last year, the CWC hosted the AKO PARA SA BATA Teen Conference on November 16-17, 2019 at the Museo Pambata, Roxas Blvd., Ermita, Manila. This activity was attended by 50 children from Metro Manila LGUs and civil society organizations who provided creative inputs relative to the operationalization and localization of the Philippine Plan of Action to End Violence against Children (PPAEVAC) which has a timeframe from 2017-2022. The participants then presented their creative inputs on the implementation of the PPAEVAC and the INSPIRE Strategies in the Philippines during the AKO PARA SA BATA International Conference on November 20, 2019 entitled For Teens, By Teens: Highlights from the Teen Conference.
The objectives of the Teen Conference are the following:

- Solicit inputs from children regarding thematic issues related to violence against children.
- Synthesize and consolidate outputs using creative presentation which will be presented during the AKO PARA SA BATA International Conference.
